Basketball Stationary Pick Foul Rule & Statistics
Regla & Estadísticas de una Falta en Cortina Estacionaria en Baloncesto

• Pasar intencionalmente a través  de la cortina
• Intentionally tries to push through screen

( for English Translation= See Below )

It must be said, to resume this topic, that if the player is moving quite fast, the contact could be quite violent, yet there would be no foul. The only time that there is a  foul when a player contacts a legal screen  is when the player being screened finds the screen ( visually o with contact ) and then intentionally tries to push through the screen rather than go around it.

Basketball Stationary Pick Foul Rule & Statistics

• A case of blind screen

( for English Translation= See below )

In this case of blind screen, the defender is not guilty of a foul. When the person who is being legally screened knows that the screen is there, they must try to avoid or minimise the contact. In the case you describe, they don't know the screen is there until they hit it.

The eBA Basketball Statistics Creative Analysis System give an answer to each case and it's stats rule.

• Defender inadvertently runs into the screener
• El defensor inadvertidamente atropella al cortinador

( para Traducción al Español= Ver a Continuación )

An offensive player sets a stationary pick for one of his teammates and a defender inadvertently runs into him:

1) is the defender guilty of foul ?
2) what the stats-rule in this case ?
Thanks!
